Start by sharing your preferred language, doctor and available dates. The supplied videos include English greetings from Drs Ko and Won, Japanese from Dr Ko and Chinese from Dr Park. Confirm consultation availability and language support when booking. [1]
Share your travel dates and purpose
Note your arrival and departure dates, appointment availability and main symptom or concern. Mention when you could return so that the required steps and follow-up can be discussed after assessment.
Bring medication and treatment information
Tell the team about prescription and over-the-counter medicines, supplements, allergies and changes in health. Bring packaging or a list if names are difficult to communicate. Do not stop medication on your own for a dental visit; check with your clinicians. [3]
Location and contact
The clinic is on the second floor of 24 Mallijae-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul. From outside Korea, call +82-2-706-2080. Confirm times in Korea Standard Time (KST, UTC+9). See the visit page for current hours and directions. [2]
Tell us your preferred language and what you need
When booking, tell us your preferred language, what you would like to discuss, your available dates and how to contact you. You may also request a particular dentist. Please confirm the language support available for the consultation; a greeting video does not show what support is available throughout treatment. [1]

Share your arrival and departure dates
Share your arrival and departure dates, the days you can visit and whether you can return later. The dentist can discuss a realistic plan after examining you. A short trip may not allow enough time for every stage of treatment. Check that your appointment is confirmed and that the time is in Korea Standard Time (KST).
When translating symptoms, start with what you've observed
You do not need medical terms to explain a problem. Tell the dentist where it hurts, when it started and what makes it noticeable. Describe what you have experienced rather than guessing a diagnosis. If you use a translation app, double-check dates, numbers and words such as “not”. Bring records rather than relying on memory for medicine names.
How to Prepare Your Medication List and Health Records
Bring a list or photos of the medicines and supplements you take, including non-prescription products. Packaging can help identify ingredients when brand names differ between countries. Mention allergies, recent health changes and problems during past treatment. The ADA advises sharing your medicines and health history with your dental team. Do not stop or change medication on your own before a dental visit. [3]
Check that you understand the explanation
Ask what language support is available for the examination, treatment choices and care instructions. If a word is unfamiliar, ask for a simpler explanation or a picture. Repeat the main points in your own words to check that you have understood. Clear information matters more than speaking perfectly.

Ensure You Have All Necessary Information Before Departure
Before leaving Korea, ask about care at home, follow-up appointments and how to contact the clinic if something feels wrong. If you need records for a dentist back home, ask which documents and languages are available. Some checks require an in-person visit and cannot be replaced by messages or a phone call.
Preparing for Your Visit: Address, Date, and Contact Information
Keep the clinic address, floor, confirmed appointment time and phone number together. Check your map against the clinic’s directions. If you need help getting into or around the clinic, ask in advance rather than relying on photos. Include your country code when sharing an overseas phone number. [2]
After the consultation, summarize the confirmed information and questions
After the visit, note what the dentist found, the agreed plan, your next appointment and care instructions. Keep unanswered questions on a separate list and ask the clinic to clarify them. If the suggested care will be difficult after you return home, discuss this before you leave.
Q. Can I read the same article in another language?
Use the language menu at the top for Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese or English. The article and source descriptions are available in those editions. Videos retain their original spoken language.
Q. Can all treatment be completed during a short trip?
That depends on the treatment and checks required. Share your travel dates beforehand, then discuss a feasible plan and aftercare following assessment. Also ask how to contact the clinic if a problem arises after you leave.
